GSIDC has been floated by the Government of Goa as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for speedy implementation of all the Infrastructural projects envisaged by the Government like Roads, Bridges, Fly-overs, Traffic Management, Bus Stands, Water Supply Augmentation, Hospitals, Tourism related projects, etc., all over the State on the similar lines of similar Corporations in other States (viz. MSRDC in Maharashtra). This would help in development of infrastructural facilities all over the State of Goa. This Corporation would act as a coordinating agency for implementing all the projects.
Over the years, the corp has successfully completed engineering and construction assignments of increasing scale and complexity.

It was a pleasant surprise, when I got the opportunity to work in GSIDC which has the synergy of a start up along with the maturity of an order. This rare combination in a Government organization forms the cutting edge and the inherent quality making it an agile force to reckon with amongst the Infrastructure providers particularly in Goa and Country at large. I am awed how the 13 years (joined in 2006) in GSIDC have passed by.
I bet there is no other organization where in one can get the exposure and experience of the various forms and facts of Infrastructure and beyond. For the learner it’s a never ending process at GSIDC because with time you are thrown up with new challenges and problems. The pressures connected to deliver quality work within the time lines and the satisfaction on realizing is a treasure I relish.
Yes its one hub of an activity those proposals, communiques, presentation, meetings, work fronts and inauguration ceremonies. All goes well like a well oiled machine, again I am sure my organization will continue to be in the forefront and a cynosure amongst others, providing Yoeman service to the state.

Taking a job with GSIDC in 2002 has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my career. I had heard that although GSIDC being a Government Company was a great place to work and had a great work culture in line with private companies which was one of the main reasons I accepted the position. I was not disappointed after knowing that I am valued as a person and as an employee for the unique experiences I bring the company.
It feels great to know that I am personally contributing to the success of the company particularly in the development of quality Infrastructure for the state which in turn is contributing to the quality of life of Goans. What I like the most is how decisions are made collaboratively and how I have a voice in the direction my projects take. This gives me pride of ownership and makes my workday that much more enjoyable and challenging. The superiors has always instilled its trust in me and I feel that I have the privilege to give my best right back. It also gives me immense pleasure in mentioning that I work with an amazing team of intelligent and passionate individuals.

Joining Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited was one of the best decisions of my career. I enjoy so many aspects of working as an Deputy Manager (Finance) for this organization. I got the opportunity to join this prestigious office as a trainee in June 2008 along with three colleagues from my class. We were soon privileged to be associated with the huge infrastructure projects amounting to nearly Hundred Crores. These public projects have helped me to expand my relations with various contractors, consultants, clients departments and handle them obediently under the guidance of my higher-ups. The valuable experience gained in the 7 seven years of my time here has shaped me to be a hardworking, more mature and a responsible individual. These qualities have helped me to develop a positive approach towards any situation which is demanded by the job profile I handle. I came to know about this organization when I was undergoing the training from the College as I was working as Consultant representative for the project which was undertaken by GSIDC. Since then, I always wanted to experience what it would be like to work in an office environment like GSIDC. I got an opportunity to join GSIDC through Campus interviews. I also developed my communication and networking skills as I am working with a wide group of staff from all different sections of the organisation and also with Contractors and Consultants not only from Goa but also from outside of Goa. This has also made me to interact with various Government Department while handling the projects. Overall Environment here is good; everyone gives importance to your ideas and can gain good knowledge from seniors.
